J. Alan McInturff is a graduate of East Tennessee State University of Johnson City, Tennessee with a BBA Degree, Bachelor of Business Administration with emphasis on Finance, Marketing and Economics. Alan taught on the College Level for Three Years in the Field of Accounting, Marketing and Economics.
Alan worked for Tennessee Valley Authority for five years as an Energy Consultant servicing Knoxville, Morristown, Bristol, Kingsport and Johnson City, Tennessee. After leaving this field of business, he went to work for the Alliance for Business and Training. While there he served as Job Development Specialist, Marketing/Advertising Specialist and then Training Center Manager. During this term of employment, he served recruiting new businesses to the State of Tennessee. It was at this time, Alan was led to open his own company.
Alan opened a Real Estate Company, known as RE/MAX Four Seasons Realty and was the owner of the company for twenty- eight years. During this time, Alan has won multiple awards for being a Top Producer for over 20 years. He has been named Multi-Million Dollar Producer for 15 consecutive years. He serviced over eleven counties during this time. Alan has been a motivator speaker/coach for over ten years, coaching individuals to become the top producer in their field of work. Alan has team up with Preferred Properties of Asheville in North Carolina in June of 2018.
Alan currently handles Residential, Condo’s, Farms and Commercial Properties within twelve counties of North Carolina. Alan is a member of Unicoi United Methodist Church where he has served as Director of Finance, Sunday School Teacher, Youth Leader/Director, Special Events Director and responsible for Christmas Magic and Thanksgiving Dinners for over 15 years to the public of his community.
Alan has been The Director of American Cancer Society, while serving over fourteen counties within the Tri-City area. His primary goal was to enhance the awareness of all phases of cancer to the public and the communities. Outside of work, Alan enjoys playing tennis, volleyball and horseback riding. Alan’s current involvements include Holston Home for Children, American Cancer Society and working with homeless children.
