For over 25 years as a Certified Real Estate Agent, Christine has represented close to 500 buyers and sellers. Christine's passion for restoring homes, 12 in total, has earned her the Griffin Award for Historic Preservation by The Asheville Preservation Society. She has served on countless non-profit boards over the years and enjoys working with Room At the Inn, an alternative housing solution for homeless women.
Christine's past work experience includes being a Merrill Lynch stockbroker, professional chef, state probation/parole officer, and an art teacher for the public school system.
When she isn't restoring homes Christine enjoys singing in the Asheville Symphony Chorus, painting at her south slope art studio, being an avid dog lover, and serving as Vestry (beginning January 2018) and active member of Mary's Episcopal Church. Christine also enjoys spending time with her husband Lewis Sorrells, previous 30-year owner of Asheville's Accent on Books, his children, and grandchildren.
