J. Alan McInturff is a graduate of East Tennessee State University of Johnson City, Tennessee with a BBA Degree, Bachelor’s of Business Administration with emphasis on Finance, Marketing and Economics. Alan taught on the college level for three years in the fields of Accounting, Marketing and Economics. Alan worked for Tennessee Valley Authority for five years as an Energy Consultant servicing Knoxville, Morristown, Bristol, Kingsport and Johnson City, Tennessee. After leaving this field of business, he went to work for the Alliance for Business and Training. While there he served as Job Development Specialist, Marketing/Advertising Specialist and then Training Center Manager. He served recruited new businesses to Tennessee.
Alan then opened his own company RE/MAX Four Seasons Realty. He served as owner and president for twenty-eight years. For over 20 years Alan won multiple awards for being Top Producer, including Multi-Million Dollar Producer for 15 consecutive years. He serviced over eleven counties during this time. Alan has been a motivator speaker/coach for over ten years, coaching people to become the top producer in their field of work. In 2018 Alan teamed up with Preferred Properties of Asheville.
Alan is a member of Unicoi United Methodist Church where he has served as Director of Finance, Sunday School Teacher, Youth Leader/Director, Special Events Director and responsible for Christmas Magic and Thanksgiving Dinners for over 15 years to the public of his community.
Alan has been The Director of American Cancer Society, while serving over fourteen counties within the Tri-City area. His primary goal is to enhance the awareness of all phases of cancer to the public and the communities. Outside of work, Alan enjoys playing tennis, volleyball and horseback riding.
