Closing

The number of people present at the closing varies: you, your Preferred Properties agent, the buyer and their agent and an escrow agent can all attend.

At the closing meeting you and the buyer will review and sign all the required closing papers. Then, after the buyer provides a cashier's or certified check for the down payment and closing costs, you turn over the keys to the new owner and collect the net proceeds from the sale.

For the closing you’ll need to bring the following items with you:

1. Keys and garage door openers
2. Picture ID – Drivers License
3. All appliance information
