You’ll be glad you met GAIL DAVIS. She could be referred to as a “military brat”……but is anything but that common term used for children raised in a military family. Gail recalls very fondly her wonderful memories of her family of 5 children growing up with a father who served 21 years in the United States Air Force. Gail learned what honor, honesty, integrity and dedication truly mean and she carries those life lessons today when working with her buyers and sellers. After 15 years with a large firm she appreciates working at one of the oldest most prestigious companies in Asheville. Altogether, she has worked in real estate for 25 years.
Gail was born in Rapid City, South Dakota. She loved growing up at all the different places their moves took them and is grateful for all the experiences of new places and new cultures. The family moved on to England and then she spent 3 years in Anchorage Alaska, moving there just after the 1964 earthquake devastation. She recalls loving the cold and snowy weather and the hours on a skating rink with her 3 brothers and sister. She claims one of the reasons she loves Asheville is because it reminds her of the beauty of Alaska!
At the point as her father re- entered civilian life, he researched the country and subsequently chose Western North Carolina as their family’s perfect final home. Gail attended Kings College in Charlotte, NC studying design/retail management. Gail went on to marry her high school sweetheart and raise a son and a daughter. They both graduated from T.C. Roberson High School and Western Carolina University – Son graduated Magna Cum Laude and Daughter with Cum Laude honors. After a short stint in retail, Gail decided to widen her interest into Real Estate.
All of Gail’s life experiences have benefited her real estate clients since she became licensed in1990 and has received rave reviews for her service from her clients. Sadly, as life happens, in 2011, Gail and her husband suffered the tragic loss of their 26 year old son from a massive heart attack followed by Gail having cancer surgery four days later. Her strength and character and faith have led her on. Her high level marketing skills stand out in the industry and her love of architecture and design makes her love of the business and the people she works with a joy. She says she loves –SERIOUSLY LOVES…the business and the fact that every day is different is inspiring.
I told you that you would BE GLAD YOU MET GAIL DAVIS. Now you know some of the many reasons why!
